Reciprocal Recording
A modest recording studio in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood where Jack Endino tracked many of the scene's foundational records, including Nirvana's "Bleach" and early Sub Pop sessions for Soundgarden and Mudhoney. Cheap rates and fast sessions made it the de facto laboratory of the early Seattle sound. More than any club, it was where the genre's first sonic signature was committed to tape.
