Inner City

Kevin Saunderson's vocal project, formed in 1987 with singer Paris Grey, was Detroit techno's most commercially successful export. The 1988 single "Big Fun" and the 1989 album Paradise carried the city's sound onto international pop charts. Inner City proved that machine music from Detroit could also be radiant, soulful song.
