Litto Nebbia
Born Félix Francisco Nebbia Corbacho in Rosario in 1948, Litto Nebbia led Los Gatos and co-wrote 'La balsa', the song most often cited as the birth of rock nacional. As a singer-songwriter he helped prove that Argentine rock could carry its own melodic and lyrical sensibility rather than borrow wholesale from abroad. His long solo career kept him a connective figure across the movement's generations.
